Do you remember what summer was like?

So casually cruel in the name of being "honest"

Today I:
- Ate lunch by myself.
- Got a tummy ache.
- Talked to a lot of people on Facebook throughout my PBL lecture.
- Borrowed physical books from the library.
- Got my blanket caught in my zip.

Can't go back. I'm haunted.

Red

Came out ages ago, but I was listening to the album on repeat today so felt I had to stick my songfeels somewhere. SO HERE HAVE SOME SONGFEELS.

Loving him was like driving a new Maserati down a dead end street, faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ended so suddenly. Loving him is like trying to change your mind once you're already flying through the free fall, like the colours of autumn so bright just before they lose it all. Losing him was blue like I'd never know, missing him was dark grey all alone, forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met. But loving him was red.
Touching him was like realising all you ever wanted was right there in front of you. Memorising him was as easy as knowing the words to your old favourite song. Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realising there's no right answers. Regretting him was like wishing you never found out love could be that strong. Losing him was blue like I'd never know, missing him was dark grey all alone, forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met. But loving him was red.
Remembering him comes in flashbacks and echoes, tell myself it's time now gotta let go. But moving on from him is impossible when I still see it all in my head. Burning red. Loving him was red.
Losing him was blue like I'd never know, missing him was dark grey all alone, forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met. But loving him was red. Burning red.
And that's why he's spinning round in my head. Comes back to me, burning red. His love was like driving a new Maserati down a dead end street.
Elton John was playing on the bus back home. I was rocking out to the Crocodile Rock. It was wonderful.

For some reason we were singing this at dinner. Randomly popped up. Old cheesy pop songs.

Mmmm so what have I done lately? I shall check my calendar.

After speech night:

- Partner interview. Was good. Bonded with the partner.
- Passed driving test.
- And according to my calendar, the only other thing I've done since speech night was see Austin today. I felt like I did a lot more though...
- Oh had training for gift wrap with Julia. Went to the pleases first to get stuff signed and stamped, then had Schnitz for dinner. My feet really hurt by the end. All this standing and walking business.
- OH YES I WENT OUT WITH BEC. Went to San Churro and had weirdly salty churros. Then had sushi for lunch. Walked up and down and all around Knox. Saw nice dresses but I never buy anything without my mum, so went back the same night with family to buy dresses.
- Saw Bond again with the brother because he didn't have anyone to see it with but now he does so we've both actually ended up seeing it twice. Got lost trying to find Hoyts.

Event-wise, it looks to be a good rest of the week. Haircut, orientation day, gift wrap, then Em. Then further gift wrapping next week. Just hope no one rocks up with a basketball.

Changed the layout cause I decided I don't like blinding white and orange. I remember someone once read really deeply into the fact that all our blogs were black or grey. To be fair, we did seem to like blacks and greys.

Your name has echoed through my mind

And I'd be smart to walk away, but you're quicksand.
This daydream is dangerous.
Slept in til about quarter to ten this morning. Latest in quite a long while I believe. Oops. Had piano lesson. Piano teacher showed me from where in Philadelphia she was on Google maps. Have spent the past week or two listening to Taylor Swift shuffle.

Burnt my thumb on my hair straightener today, so now it's all shiny and stings a little. On the bright side, I got three free ice-creams at Flinder's so I could freeze it on the train back home.

Had macro yesterday. Was alright. Thought I got something right, but appaz not. Oh well. Done, gone, and now I can go recycle my macro notes cause not touching eco again. Once the recycling gets taken out in a week, cause it's ridiculously full right now.

Sigh it's been three weeks zzzzzzzzzz. Not that I'm counting.

And a year's passed. Well, still a month and half to go. But still. Nearing the end. Weird. Just looked through my diary. Had no entry for 7th November last year, but had methods exam 1 on the 8th. So it was a day before methods.

Almost theresies. My thumb is numb. And Jay-Z is ridiculously tall. He usually looks shorter.

Mood: good enough. Kind of nothing. Just kind of waiting for it to be done. Ten days til Jess is back. Two weeks til I'm all done for this year.

Sunday, April 29

I have discovered that I really do like you a lot. But at times, no, a lot of the time, you make me feel all the more fake. Well, just detached. And I told you stuff just then, but I don't know how seriously you took me. I still don't know you. Weird. I know what you're like. But I still don't know you.

Then, because of what we were talking, I was all thinking and stuff, then I was full on blog-stalking posts from one and a half, almost two years ago now.
I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'll never let you go.
But all that's dead and gone and past.

Lala. I'm being paranoid. Again. Over thinking. Again. Should stop it. Can't.

7:16am, next day

My dear, it can be said that you still terrify me.

Of the third week of being a tertiary student

I have some work to do...can't fall behind. That is bad.

I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night?

I miss quite a few things. I miss holding hands in French and linking arms. I miss standing in front of the ad board in the mornings. Being part of something in the music suite. Eating all that food in form. Ah. Form was great. A lot of things.

Wishing you were at my door.

But I am doing goodly. Now I am off to shower and do some work. And things. Sleepy. Sneezy.

When not to do French homework

At 12:15am. After having had a fairly full day running on two or three hours of sleep. Especially if you're meant to understand and summarise a challenging enough but not too complicated piece of writing. My head. It can barely compute English.

And that is another brilliant piece of advice from Sarah.

Oh, and don't go Facebook stalking people whilst in the middle of homework. Creates unproductivity. Yeah. That's a word.

Untouchable like a distant diamond sky. I'm reaching out, but I just can't tell you why. I'm caught up in you. I'm caught up in you. Untouchable, burning brighter than the sun, and when you're close I feel like coming undone. In the middle of the night, when I'm in this dream. It's like a million little stars spelling out your name. You gotta come on, come on, say that we'll be together. Come on, come on. A little taste of heaven.

Taylor Swift was great. Ahhhhhh. Yeah.

BACK TO FRENCH.

Thursday, February 2

Apparently this is my 300th post

But I don't think so, cause I think it counts drafts as posts. But yay for me anyway.

I have been encouraged to read Hunger Games by Julia just to check it out, but Jess hypothesises that they will annoy me. I hypothesise that they will annoy me, seeing as I am already annoyed by them and haven't actually read them yet. But Julia says I should. Even if she doesn't like them. So I shall get them off someone. Bec. Must find Bec. She has them. But I won't see her (I presume) until the 25th. And then won't get them back to her for fifty billion years, cause we don't go to the same uni.

Sigh. We don't go to the same uni.

Speaking of items unreturned, I still have four Pokémon seasons lying unwatched on the floor of my bedroom. I don't think they're going to get watched anytime soon.

I also bought Easy A today. Shall watch it this weekend.

I have a good idea for a story in my mind.

Durarara withdrawal.

Nadal withdrawal.

Sick.
Talk to the tears, talk to the man who put you here. Don't wait for the sky to clear.
I feel like reading through some old emails, just cause I feel melancholy. Ha. Melon.

8:49pm

I can understand why I acted the way I did, but I also understand that most of it wasn't justified. That no matter how mature I thought I was, I dealt with a lot of things in a highly immature manner. Ahhh, hindsight. You cool. And stuff.

Gosh, who even reads this?

8:53pm

Listening to the acoustic version of If I Had A Gun again. Has there ever been a better songwriter? My gosh. *fangirl squeal* He's just so good at writing. My gosh. Oh gosh. It's just so good. I'm sorry. Celebrity crushes render me speechless cause there's a really tight feeling in my chest that's this massive well of emotion from listening to music and a massive pit of admiration that I can't quite explain. It makes me want to throw my arms around in some sort of weird spasm and make a lot of sdhfihsdifhishfhisdhfidhsifhsd noises.

8:57pm
I seem to spend my whole life running from people who would be the death of you and me. Cause I can feel the storm clouds sucking up my soul.
And I get the feeling I should delete my side tumblr. Why do I have two? Honestly? Just had an idea to start a music blog...probably not a good thing for my eventual attempts to rid myself of internet when school starts again. And would anyone read yet another blog? I doubt it. Why the hell do I even blog here? I have no idea. Cause it's quicker than writing in my diary.

10:30pm

For some as yet unexplained reason, I am sorting in the dark listening to Broken Arrow With my phone's high quality speaker. And just Noel in general. Well, I've only spent the past five minutes or so doing that. Make that tenish actually. Mmm. And now I'm sitting in the dark blogging about it on my phone. Time for bed, I believe.

Not a weekly update

Although I had told myself not to blog except for weekends, I will make this exception. This may set a dangerous precedent, but whatever. It had to be done. Because I feel amazing.

Today was a good day. I don't know why, but suddenly I don't feel like listening to If This Was  A Movie anymore, and had Helter Skelter and Fearless running through my head going home instead. It's a very Fearless day. I have no idea why.

A twenty minute trip from school to Flinder's can pack a surprising amount of depth in a conversation, as I discovered today. It was probably even less than twenty minutes. But it was nice all the same. Catriona, I reiterate that I'm really glad that I met you, and that there's no one else I would rather have been a Vice-Captain to.

"When someone opens up to you, you care for them even more." Or something like that. Very true.

In this moment now; capture it. Remember it.
That video captures the emotion of the song perfectly for me. That's what I want this year to be. A video clip of the best memories.

My brother got a Taylor Swift card for his birthday. It plays about twenty seconds of Fearless upon opening. Jealous.

Onto Valentine's Day:

Jess, thanks for the rose thingo. It was very cute and I will also figure out how to make it cause it's adorable. Julia thank you for the chocolate. Both Catriona and Bec T, thank you for the drawings/messages written on the back of homework.

There was also a mystery person who we are yet to discover the identity of. We may never know...how Whose Reality. Whoever you are, thank you. The words meant a lot, especially seeing as I lose sight of them sometimes. I would not describe myself as patient. The opposite in fact. And I have screwed up in the past, so I guess that doesn't make me all too flash about the loving people bit. But I am trying.

If we could find out who you are, I would give you a very big hug, because you deserve it.

8:33pm
Listening to sick beats make me want to work. Or at least, it doesn't discourage me from working. I also colour the work I've done in my diary, instead of ticking things off. It motivates me to work in making my diary all pretty.

Although I do cheat a bit, colouring in half done work and then moving the rest down onto the next day...close enough. At least I'm doing stuff.

It has been a really good day and I have no idea why.

Weekly update 1

This is the first weekly update. And quite possibly the last. Because I blog sporadically, and it's always a bit of a problem trying to think of a title for the post. I could call it a ramble again, but I feel as though I am doing a weekly update.

Although it's getting ramblier and ramblier by the second.

And so passes the first week of year twelve, with an obvious improvement seen in the succinctness and conciseness of my English expression. I am fairly on top of homework. Although I did give up halfway through a spesh chapter because it was just too long. Twelve out of thirty-two questions done from 2B. Will get around to that. Other than that, it's all good. Had two tests this week. Maths, of course.

You know what's ridiculous? My sister seems to have more work to do than I do. I see her slugging away with her maths or IS (snigger) every night, which I'm on my computer watching Final Fantasy or writing stories.

And yes, Advent Children Complete is still yet to be watched. I just keep watching the same bit over and over, much like here, except now I get the awesome bit with Cloud flying through the wall, getting sliced up, and then having crazy visions of Zack. And seeing as I quoted it before when I hadn't seen it, let's quote it again now that I have.
"So what if it looks hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as SOLDIER. Well, okay, you never made SOLDIER. But it's what's in here that counts."
"Zack..."
"Well, you need a hand with him? You already beat him once didn't you? This should be a cinch."
"...yeah."
"Cloud. You know what I told you?"
"That's right. I am your living legacy."
Go get 'em tiger.

Was almost able to write that out by heart...missed two words I believe. I don't know whether I should be proud or ashamed.  Cloud's hair is so floaty. Need to get some sort of movie editing device so I can cut bits out of the movie. Keep having to skip to one and a half hours into the film to watch that bit.

There's a page on Facebook which is called "mistakes in Inception you weren't meant to see", or something along those lines. I read the comments on the wall, and I thought one particular guy had a point: were there mistakes in Inception that you were meant to see?

In other news, my phone came back. LG sounded rather miffed, because they say that it is not a phone problem. Glad they didn't charge me though. The wifi still does not work. I am very upset.

And foam packaging pellets smell like bread.

Spent period five with Jess in stupidly humid weather. You should have seen how floppy my maths notes were. Many people found it strange that we were sitting at a table outside, facing a brick wall. Fully ceebs turning it around, alright? And it was spider-webby.

Beach Chair has been going through my head for the latter part of this week. It's slightly creepy sounding, due to Chris Martin production techniques.

Life is but a dream to me. I don't wanna wake up.
I don't know why we here, but since we gotta be here. Life is but a beach chair, chair.
It's very Whose Reality. And by the way, Whose Reality is really screwing with my brain. Heaps. It's making it explode into many, many pieces.

And did anyone else think that the first SAC was on Wikileaks? It's on Streetcar, and I've been preparing language analysis, which I now have down pretty well. Creative writing is another story. I have no inspiration for anything Whose Reality-related at the moment.

I have created a Tumblr. Good luck finding it. I haven't actually advertised it yet, because I want to give it a decent theme first, and be able to have somewhere to put my explanation of the title, which may or may not be way too abstract and punny. Although it's not actually that punny...upon reflection, it's not actually punny in the slightest.

But yes, when it does get up and running, it will be for images I find of the net, and my fiddlings on Photoshop, and other things I draw/paint/make. Should be fun.

All that I know is I don't know how to be something you miss. Never thought we'd have a last kiss.
Ow, ow, ow, heart.

If you take the first six words of the chorus completely out of context, and just go with how it sounds, then you get something completely different and contrary to the rest of the song. But it's what I half-thought when I first heard it (the title sort of gave it away).
Never thought we'd ever last...

Snail invasion: Part II

They're everywhere. It's not even raining anymore, and the snails are still there. Not just live ones either. Dead ones which have been unfortunately squished by unsuspecting pedestrians.

And then there are the tiny ones which you don't realise are snails, thinking that they're just strangely placed rocks in the middle of the driveway where there shouldn't be any rocks. And you only realise when you get up close and personal. And then freak out, thinking about how close to death that snail was.

I hate walking the dog after it rains.
Time turns flames to embers, you'll have new Septembers. Every one of us has messed up too. Lives change like the weather. I hope you'll remember that today is never too late to be brand new.
I am currently in the process of getting the full version of Advent Children, as I sat through the not full version hanging on for that one scene where Zack pops up...it didn't happen. I was so put out. I got to the end of the movie and my stomach just sank and I wanted to shake the computer and demand "WHERE'S ZACK??!???!?!?"

?!!

?

!

Those question marks look rather strange now. But guess what I'm going to be watching on the plane on Tuesday? My iPod apparently has only 6 hours of video battery life...I'm spending a whole day on a plane, or thereabouts. That information is according to wikipedia, and probably inaccurate seeing as I've had my iPod for almost a year, and the battery's probably not even that good now. Must find a powerpoint on the aircraft. Or I could charge it in Malaysia I guess, if I can find a powerpoint to suck electricity from. 36 hours of audio is alright. Here's hoping that there are good movies on in-plane tv.

Also according to wikipedia, there is no video playback on nano gen 6. Another reason why you shouldn't get it. Although the screen's tiny anyway. But still.
Can't nobody do it like you. Said every little thing you do, oh baby. Said, stays on my mind. And I; I'm officially missing you.
I wish you strength on life's sudden slope

Of too much leisure time

Wasn't is beautiful when you believed in everything?
And everyone believed in you.
My ridiculous amounts of leisure time include tromping to and from school to attend rehearsals (I spend more time tromping than I do rehearsing), making Christmas presents, playing clarinet, fiddling around with piano, and reading the Lonely Planet guide to France. And playing Brawl. I need more hobbies. I also need to make Christmas cards.

Impossible and weird as though it may seem, I'm running out of time.

I also wish to watch all six Harry Potters before it comes out on Thursday, but I don't think that's happening.

And freaking out about calling people I've never met before.

I hate how I feel more awesome about playing my pieces after I've done my recital.

I was sitting on the train the other day (what's new), and I saw a lady walk on and sit across from me with a tennis racket bag. It had a scribble which looked suspiciously like a signature on it, and me being me, my train of thought automatically went "Rafa". I was standing later, and lady was also standing about to alight from the train, and I get to see the signature closer. It was a scribble with a big r, and underneath it said Rafael Nadal.

I felt incredibly jealous of this stranger, and desperately wanted to trade my Calvin Klein for her tennis bag.

chasing the sun

So Speak Now came out, and I've been playing it on repeat quite excessively. It makes me want to cry. Back To December is just depressing. As is If This Was A Movie. Would blog extensively, but has already been done by two people I know, so that's enough coverage. Nearly cried to it on the train, which would have been rather embarrassing. And many other songs. Someone said Mine was optimistic. It is, and that's sorta what makes it sad. It's that depressing happiness, like the year 12s leaving, or our last music class. Looking forward. It reminds me of Slide Away.

I dream of you and we talk of growing old. But you said, "please don't"
Although the emotion is slightly more amped up in the following:

We'll find a way of chasing the sun
Go the guy who can drum and play tambourine at the same time. I wish either of them would release an album already. I miss Noel's music. And I love how effortlessly he plays guitar. And the fact that he writes incredibly easy chord progressions. His fingers are barely moving.

I also love his leather jacket look. I think he's what got me into leather jackets. Someone said mine looked like a bikie thing...hmm.
I never worry - now that is a lie...it's hard to believe there's nobody out there. It's hard to believe that I'm all alone.
Edit: There was meant to be a video here of Under The Bridge, but I can't embed it. Sigh. So read the following as though you did have access to the video.

I had no idea Red Hot Chili Peppers man looked like that. Or acted that strangely. However, I love it when he mouths "boom" when the drums kick in. His range is a little small. And he did start out as a rapper. HIs hair is a bit long. Nice song though. So chill.

I'm watching as I'm blogging. He's doing some sort of Baywatch run. Showing off how ripped he is. And his hair is swooshing around. Interesting.

Speaking of ripped. Nadal. Thought I'd put that in there cause Zoe and I had a bit of a Nadal obsession moment yesterday. Damn, I want to meet him. Crown stalking it is.

Unfortunately I can't find the official video, if there is one. So live shall have to do. Her stage presence/actions are sorta a bit nyeh. It's better when she has a guitar. It looks cooler then.

Saturday, October 16

of Melbourne weather

There's something bout the way the street looks when it's just rained; there's a glow off the pavement WHICH BLINDS MY EYES CAUSE THE SUN JUST CAME OUT AFTER A WHOLE NIGHT OF HAIL/TORRENTIAL RAIN. Crazy stuff woke me up three times during what I am sure would have otherwise been a very pleasant sleeping experience. Also destroyed my umbrella, the one of awesomeness, purpleness and domeness. I shall attempt to fix it using string. My mother bent it back into shape, and I will later attempt to revive it by wrapping copious amounts of string around it in a bid to not let it bend in on itself again.

It's the first kiss, it's flawless, really something
Ahh, the monkey.
I want to turn the whole thing upside down, or find the things they say just can't be found.
1:46pm
I was just flicking through my old Pallases (plural of Pallas; Palli?), and I realised that I haven't seen some people in a while. They either left Macrob, or I have been completely unobservant this year, and I only remembered them when I looked back and went "oh yeah. They exist."

4:46pm
Sometime during the past couple of months, I have turned into a problem child. Literally, a problem.

words of wisdom

I just played the acoustic Forever and Always again. Closed iTunes cause it seems to be stuck in my head and it is just too depressing. Hurts...somewhere in my heart. And I don't know why.
And you feel so low you can't feel nothing at all
In other news, listening to excessive amounts of Maroon 5.
Wake you up in the middle of the night to say, "I will never walk away again. I'm never gonna leave this bed"
How annoying. He randomly wakes you up in the middle of the night when he could've told you in the morning.
Take it, take it all, take all that I have. Give it all away just to get you back.
In other other news, I got my red Aviators. They are very rock 'n' roll. In the extreme.

Hmm. Unreliable people in terms of birthday presents. Annoying. Always annoying when people are unreliable. But I shall be patient and understanding and tolerant...or I'll try.

BECAUSE

The point of this post is:
When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me. Speaking words of wisdom, "let it be". And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom: let it be...and when the night is cloudy there is still a light that shines on me. Shine until tomorrow, let it be.
I'm sorry I forgot that. So I hope you all fill your heads with images of me tossing some sort of dark rain cloud out of the window.

Or maybe just suppressing it like the Bolsheviks suppressed Russia, and eventually it'll evaporate. The rain cloud that is. Not Russia.
You pushed me. I don't have the strength to resist or control you; you cut me down.
Unlike:
Does it kill does it burn, is it painful to learn that it's me who has all the control?
Adam Levine, the one of many different personas. Then again, he's a musician. Come to think of it, then again, he's human.

Now I've got Harder To Breathe stuck in my head.
How dare you say that my behaviour's unacceptable? So condescending, unnecessarily critical. I have a tendency of getting very physical, so watch your step cause if I do you'll need a miracle. You drain me dry and make me wonder why I'm even here. The double vision I was seeing has finally cleared. You want to stay but you know very well I want you gone, not fit to frickin tread the ground that I am walking on. When it gets cold outside and I got nobody to love. You'll understand what I mean when I say there's no way we gonna give up. Like a little girl cries in the face of a monster that lives in a dream. Is there anyone out there? Cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe.
Such vengeance, Maroon 5 man.

flashback

God this thing is depressing. Her voice is so much more fragile. I love acoustic things. They bring out a completely different side of the music.
And you feel so low you can't feel nothing at all
And although I have written the revs essay, I haven't done anything else. I would have had I not been sick. Still sick. Extremely dodgy time to get sick.

7:23pm
Daylight saving stole my hour of sleep/work. Although because of sickness, I don't feel like working. I hate being sick.

7:45pm
Why are there so many flies around? I'm trying to type revs notes here, and this one fly keeps flying round and round in circles around my head. Very annoying. If you want to fly, at least have the decency to do so in silence. I caught three huge ones last night while I was typing the revs essay. It was disgusting. Those rich capitalist flies. This one's a poor peasant fly I think; it's smaller. Although I can't really tell cause he's going round and round so much. And if he's starved and malnourished, why is he zipping around with such energy? Alright, he's a capitalist fly too.

Saturday, October 2

Winner

Alright, here's the gameplan:

Sarah's first part of working is three hours of piano, with probably a break for lunch. That will most likely take me to about 1:30/2pm.

Then I need to:

Finish my revs notes for SAC
Write practice essay
Finish music summary notes
Rewrite English and send to tutor
Finish reflection on English
Write up another draft for English
Music campaign poster

Which will then leave me time to maybe do more piano, and also aural. And find the music for Old Wine In New Bottles which I forgot to practice cause I didn't have the music lying around to remind me.

Which will then leave me tomorrow to freak out about aural, which I will then most likely do. And some practice.

Brilliant.
Here's to the silence that cuts me to the core
Forever And Always. Accoustically. The awesomes.

And despite the huge list of work, it is actually doable if I try. Cause most of it's half-finished anyway.

Off to...I need to name my piano. Off to the piano.

After I finish this Strepsil and brush my teeth. Lovely time to get sick. Last two days of holidays, and SAC on Tuesday. Wonderful. Although it hasn't progressed beyond a sore throat and some sniffles which I've had for a while anyway. Let's hope it doesn't.

Update at 1:14pm
Didn't work. Only managed one and a half hours of piano before I brawled at 11:30 instead. And now Michelle's jamming away so no piano for me.

This sick business is getting worse. My head is all stuffy. Gah.

I also cannot find the piano version of Forever And Always. I want to have it blasting through my speakers. Now. Need to get it off my brother's computer. Now. Now.

7:11pm
Did the piano. Or the large bulk of it.

However, my motivation to work is quickly dissipating. My head's starting to lose all coherence. That doesn't even make any sense. See?

Wednesday, September 22

you saw me start to believe for the first time

Francesca shivers from the cold and Will takes her hand and tucks it in his jacket pocket and for a moment Tom feels an ache of loneliness for whatever these two have that works for them
Also new Maroon 5 album out today. Has a nice cover of If I Ain't Got You on there. How is also quite nice. I haven't really listened to it, it was more listening in passing. I wish they would make another Songs About Jane. Such an awesome album.

I love how diverse his voice is. It can do edgy and rocky, then soft and mellow. He covered songs from The Beatles to Alicia Keys to Oasis. He also speaks in some weird sort of permanent falsetto.

4:13pm
I also just noticed how scary he looks right there.

Tuesday, August 3

She didn't even swear

Ahhh T-Pain, you've done it again. I love how he talks with autotune on. It's amusing.

Feeling in a strangely productive mood. Tired as anything, and spent a good two hours writing an English essay of highly dodgy quality (yeah, I suck), and have to do spesh and practice piano somehow. Yet I'm actually gonna do it I think. Oh dear. What is happening.

Saturday, July 3

Viva España (complete with the little twiddly thing)

Yeah, so I thought that Wimbledon men's final was on the same night as the World Cup final. I believed that tennis started at 10:30pm, and football started at 4:30. I WAS WRONG. I AM SO GLAD I WAS WRONG. I thought it was a tad weird. It only really hit me this morning, when Nadal got through to the final after a brilliant win over Murray. Well, it was straight sets, but anything Nadal does is brilliant. He brings such energy onto court. C'est tres cool. Beckham was watching in dismay. His son looked very disappointed. So yeah, I sorta realised that it would be just a tad ridiculous to be playing the final a week after the semis...so guess who's going to be up tomorrow night in front of the television? At least they broadcast this one in Australia. I watched Roland Garros in constant fear that the streaming channel would suddenly die. Not to mention my tv has superior graphics to the live streaming. Vamos Rafa. You win Wimbledon. You tank. He's playing Berdych, of all people. Seems like the guys having a great run. Reminds me of Del Potro at US Open last year. Should be interesting to watch. I think Rafa's gonna win, but Berdych might get a set. Or, heaven forbid, he might win. However, I have faith in Rafa. He's in fine form at the moment.

Might get up to watch Spain and...Paraguay (?) tomorrow morning. Maybe. I do have a masterclass in the afternoon. Mmm. Shall decide later.

I am currently listening to You Belong With Me on loop. This is the...sixth or seventh time I've listened to it in about half an hour. I don't know why.

Got halfway through watching Gladiator last night. I have a love/hate relationship with that movie. I hate how sad it is; it makes my heart ache. It kills me. And for the same reason I love it. It's just I don't really like feeling like that all the time. I don't know what it is. It's some sort of admiration, mixed up with some sadness and a little joy as well. Quite a strange, strange feeling. Heartstricken...I need a better word. That sounds too violent. And I don't want to repeat sad joyous and admiring every time I need to describe it. Any ideas?

I'm sure there was other stuff I was meant to blog about, but the list is on the sticky-note on my desktop on my own computer, and at the moment I'm using Michelle's iMac, so I'll stick that in another post another day.

And I bought a wallet from Calvin Klein yesterday for about 50 bucks. Awesome. It looks alright, and it was 70% off (I love the end of the financial year. And Taylor Swift is starting up again.) I also used my keycard for the first time...it worked. Much surprise. Rather exciting, in a lame sort of way.
