Wake up Jess!

Now that I have created a post called wake up Jess, my job here is done.

Seeing as I don't really have anything better to do, I'll just go on a really long ramble about nothing. Going through folders of stuff that I've saved is quite amusing. Found a powerpoint Julia did for French back in year nine. Filed under the folder called "Amusing". And it is quite amusing. And amazing. Also amongst all the random screenshots and junk I've saved was a message from a certain someone back in that dodgy period in year eleven. On Facebook, on my wall. All my Facebook friends must've thought we were quite strange...or something. We were rather dramatic with all these intimate feels in public where they probably should've belonged in private Facebook messages rather than wall posts...

Actually just scrolled through my timeline trying to find it. Then I remembered that you deleted that account. Eheheheh.

My past week:

Last Saturday
- Formal
- Was good. Got to climb up to a really high part of Crown Towers. Wouldn't mind going there with friends before AA Ball which I am actually not going to but may potentially crash their pres for. But we're all impoverished uni students so will probably end up on some bench next to the Yarra sipping water instead.
- Got flowers for my wrist. They was nice.
- Actually, before the second dot point if we feel like being chronological, we got lost on the way to Crown Towers.
- Cabbed for literally five minutes to Hyatt.
- People aren't that scary. Though it is kind of awkward when people recognise your face and you have never seen them before in your life. But I did see people I knew. That was nice.
- Music was loud, so sat outside and talked. That was nice too. I like talking. Friends. Friends are nice. I miss my friends.
- Took ages to get back to Crown in the aftermath. Froze. Walked back. Voice was sounding weird by that stage from tired.
- Also forgot to mention that my sister helped me get ready, which consisted largely of me whining at her that my necklace was knotted/there was mascara in my eye/there was eyeliner on my face/there was lipstick on my forehead/I hate lipstick so screw the lipstick. She was rather extremely patient.

Sunday
- Father's Day
- My eye was weirdly twitchy all day cause I think I wore my contacts for too long the night before. May have done something funky to eye/eyelid.
- Let the OMGIHAVETWOASSIGNMENTSDUEINTHENEXTTWODAYSANDMY
GROUPMEMBERSARESTRESSINGMEOUTCAUSEWEHAVENOCOMMUNICATIONAND
OMGTUTEWORKANDOMGUNIANDOMGPIANOANDOMGDOIORDOINOT
HAVEAFRENCHORALITHOUGHTITWASINWEEKTENBUTWHATIFITISNTANDTHEN
MYTUTORWILLJUDGEMEANDHESALREADYJUDGINGMECAUSEIWROTE
ATERRIBLEESSAYANDOMG commence.
- Worked. Got the assignments smashed out. Ceebsed the tute work.
- Went out for coffee for Father's Day.
- Applied eye drops to my eyes a lot. Applied eye drops to my nose even more.

Monday
- Hrm. Discovered that I didn't have French oral. That was a plus.
- Saw Julia. Sat. Talked. Sunny. But windy.
- Got attacked by Student Union representatives. They made me feel guilty. Ridiculous. Just leave me alone and don't send me spiralling into some guilty thingamabob just cause you want my vote. Even more awkward when it's someone you kind of know but not really.
- Tutes. Got 2.5/5 for first accounting assignment. Solid. Sigh.
- Piano class. Was very sleepy. Had famouns American pianist giving masterclasses. He decided to sit next to me to listen to the first person. Then he decided it was easier if he sat on stage, so I was able to relax and not pretend to be mega engaged and could just zone out a tad.
- Home, eats, piano, crashed.

Tuesday
- DAY OF THE MANY MANY LECTURES AND ONE REHEARSAL. I do detest Tuesdays.
- Accounting lecture.
- Macro lecture. It was the first Tuesday of the month, so our lecturer was having a happy happy "it's Reserve Bank board meeting day!" moment.
- JD info session. Walked down with Danny to law building in the crazy winds.
- Got infoed by across the road neighbour who I initially didn't notice was in the room. He was sitting right behind me. Good job me.
- Cat and Julia had prac, so I chilled with Anita instead, and watched her study for her maths mid-sem. Learnt whole bunch of mystical mathematical signs, and Greek letters.
- Accounting lecture the second.
- Choob rehearsal. Was good. Need to continue hammering high notes cause high notes are high.
- Continued to get attacked by Student Union people throughout the day. Including some girl who claimed she was in one of my tutes. I really don't care. Still not gonna vote.

Wednesday
- The day I forgot my phone cause I tumbled out of the house after the Cavalier King Charles jumped out from under a fence and decided to come after my dog when we walked past debacle.
- It was terrible not having a phone.
- Saw teacher's going on strike as I went past Richmond.
- Macro tute. Didn't have phone. Couldn't take photos of the graphs which tutor drew, so had to get Stefan to send them to me. Sad life.
- Break with Alice, who decided to not go to bio. MAHI VISITED. Jumped on her from behind, facilitated by the fact that she was standing in front of a conveniently raised stone border thing which made it possible for me to jump on her. Jumped back off her. Jarred my ankles cause she's too tall.
- Student Union people continued to attack.
- Used Alice's phone to contact important persons cause I didn't have my phone.
- French tute. Had impromptu debate. Contributed about three words to said debate. Good stuff me. Sigh.
- Chilled with Julia and Mahi after using Danny's phone to find them. Sat. Talked. Happyed.
- Alice came back. Went for churros cause churros are nice. Kept dropping chocolate stuff everywhere. A list of food stuffs I don't like was compiled.
- Sat at MC. Talked. Laughed. Leaned on people. Hugs. Being able to hold people. I miss intimacy. I miss touching people. Creepy sounding. But you know what I mean. You. Over there. That one.
- Left, went down to SY. Saw Zoe. Chilled with Zoe. Simon arrived. Austin didn't. Saw various people who weren't Austin walk by. Saw Steven. Continued chilling with Zoe and Simon until Austin came.
- Trainzorz.

Thursday
- Skipped macro lecture.
- No Student Union, cause I didn't go to uni mweeheeheehee.
- Went to Chadstone to get bro's MacBook fixed or something. It was eventually fixed or something the next day.
- Bought jumper for Grandpa's birthday. Which I have yet to pay Mum back for.
- Came home. Studied a bit. Listened to macro lecture which was el skipped.

Friday
- Carring lesson.
- Studied.

Saturday
- More study, nothing of particular interest.

And that is all.

That was interesting. I'm sleepy now.

10:35pm

Shall stick some spaces in that massive "word" above so that it doesn't end up being a massive word...

Was gonna tumblr this, but...I like here more

Yesterday was a good day and special day (yes, that t-shirt slogan thingo will haunt me forever. I like it that way).
- Ran into a lot of high school people at MC cause it's the holidays and people like to have outings on Thursdays cause it's fun. Sang Waltzing Matilda under the clock. It just kept on going.
- Met up with people who I was meant to met up with. Was good. I miss them.
- Frolicked over to nom ramen with Jess, Julia, Bec, Viv, Zoe, Tiff...I feel like I'm missing someone. Oh. Me.
- Nommed ramen. Laughed a lot. Slept on Julia. I miss physical contact during breaks. I miss physical contact during uni. No, I'm not creepy at all.
- Mahi met up with us after. That was good. She kept laughing at me and squishing me. One of few people I don't mind reacting like that, so it's alright.
- Walked down to...somewhere. Where did we go...wherever it was, we caught a tram. Bumblebee tram which told us to alight for stops.
- Got to Crown. Walked through Crown. Almost fell down some stairs. Julia saved my life.
- Laser Wars. Came dead last. Laughed like a maniac because of mishearing things.
- Walked to Southbank. Everyone else had ice cream (I think). I left cause needed to go home.
- Got home, was very sleepy. Napped. Fudged around for the rest of the night. Went to bed. Got woken up. Then slept again.

Happy. Not unsettled at the moment. It comes and it goes. Hopefully it'll get to the point where the periods between "go" and "come" are more extensive.

Bzz

I drew some bees for a friend. You can look at them too if it makes you happy.

The original masterpiece. Which then got turned into this:

Cause Bec thought that I should put shojo eyes on my bee. So there you are. Complete with shojo romantic circle things, which sorta turned into shojo romantic rose things cause I couldn't figure out how to draw the bubble on MS Paint...

Completed to the inspirational sounds of Beatles.

12:01am

Also completed to inspiration Beatles songs:

A crayfish for Julia cause she's allergic to them. And I just tried to spell allergic with one l. I thought it was one l...maybe I'm very tired. Hrm.

His name is Jeremy, and he's had a big night out so he's a little tipsy at the moment. It's difficult to balance on his extra long legs. I hope Julia takes care of him. Sniff.

Night night.

Not a weekly update

Although I had told myself not to blog except for weekends, I will make this exception. This may set a dangerous precedent, but whatever. It had to be done. Because I feel amazing.

Today was a good day. I don't know why, but suddenly I don't feel like listening to If This Was  A Movie anymore, and had Helter Skelter and Fearless running through my head going home instead. It's a very Fearless day. I have no idea why.

A twenty minute trip from school to Flinder's can pack a surprising amount of depth in a conversation, as I discovered today. It was probably even less than twenty minutes. But it was nice all the same. Catriona, I reiterate that I'm really glad that I met you, and that there's no one else I would rather have been a Vice-Captain to.

"When someone opens up to you, you care for them even more." Or something like that. Very true.

In this moment now; capture it. Remember it.
That video captures the emotion of the song perfectly for me. That's what I want this year to be. A video clip of the best memories.

My brother got a Taylor Swift card for his birthday. It plays about twenty seconds of Fearless upon opening. Jealous.

Onto Valentine's Day:

Jess, thanks for the rose thingo. It was very cute and I will also figure out how to make it cause it's adorable. Julia thank you for the chocolate. Both Catriona and Bec T, thank you for the drawings/messages written on the back of homework.

There was also a mystery person who we are yet to discover the identity of. We may never know...how Whose Reality. Whoever you are, thank you. The words meant a lot, especially seeing as I lose sight of them sometimes. I would not describe myself as patient. The opposite in fact. And I have screwed up in the past, so I guess that doesn't make me all too flash about the loving people bit. But I am trying.

If we could find out who you are, I would give you a very big hug, because you deserve it.

8:33pm
Listening to sick beats make me want to work. Or at least, it doesn't discourage me from working. I also colour the work I've done in my diary, instead of ticking things off. It motivates me to work in making my diary all pretty.

Although I do cheat a bit, colouring in half done work and then moving the rest down onto the next day...close enough. At least I'm doing stuff.

It has been a really good day and I have no idea why.

Weekly update 1

This is the first weekly update. And quite possibly the last. Because I blog sporadically, and it's always a bit of a problem trying to think of a title for the post. I could call it a ramble again, but I feel as though I am doing a weekly update.

Although it's getting ramblier and ramblier by the second.

And so passes the first week of year twelve, with an obvious improvement seen in the succinctness and conciseness of my English expression. I am fairly on top of homework. Although I did give up halfway through a spesh chapter because it was just too long. Twelve out of thirty-two questions done from 2B. Will get around to that. Other than that, it's all good. Had two tests this week. Maths, of course.

You know what's ridiculous? My sister seems to have more work to do than I do. I see her slugging away with her maths or IS (snigger) every night, which I'm on my computer watching Final Fantasy or writing stories.

And yes, Advent Children Complete is still yet to be watched. I just keep watching the same bit over and over, much like here, except now I get the awesome bit with Cloud flying through the wall, getting sliced up, and then having crazy visions of Zack. And seeing as I quoted it before when I hadn't seen it, let's quote it again now that I have.
"So what if it looks hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as SOLDIER. Well, okay, you never made SOLDIER. But it's what's in here that counts."
"Zack..."
"Well, you need a hand with him? You already beat him once didn't you? This should be a cinch."
"...yeah."
"Cloud. You know what I told you?"
"That's right. I am your living legacy."
Go get 'em tiger.

Was almost able to write that out by heart...missed two words I believe. I don't know whether I should be proud or ashamed.  Cloud's hair is so floaty. Need to get some sort of movie editing device so I can cut bits out of the movie. Keep having to skip to one and a half hours into the film to watch that bit.

There's a page on Facebook which is called "mistakes in Inception you weren't meant to see", or something along those lines. I read the comments on the wall, and I thought one particular guy had a point: were there mistakes in Inception that you were meant to see?

In other news, my phone came back. LG sounded rather miffed, because they say that it is not a phone problem. Glad they didn't charge me though. The wifi still does not work. I am very upset.

And foam packaging pellets smell like bread.

Spent period five with Jess in stupidly humid weather. You should have seen how floppy my maths notes were. Many people found it strange that we were sitting at a table outside, facing a brick wall. Fully ceebs turning it around, alright? And it was spider-webby.

Beach Chair has been going through my head for the latter part of this week. It's slightly creepy sounding, due to Chris Martin production techniques.

Life is but a dream to me. I don't wanna wake up.
I don't know why we here, but since we gotta be here. Life is but a beach chair, chair.
It's very Whose Reality. And by the way, Whose Reality is really screwing with my brain. Heaps. It's making it explode into many, many pieces.

And did anyone else think that the first SAC was on Wikileaks? It's on Streetcar, and I've been preparing language analysis, which I now have down pretty well. Creative writing is another story. I have no inspiration for anything Whose Reality-related at the moment.

I have created a Tumblr. Good luck finding it. I haven't actually advertised it yet, because I want to give it a decent theme first, and be able to have somewhere to put my explanation of the title, which may or may not be way too abstract and punny. Although it's not actually that punny...upon reflection, it's not actually punny in the slightest.

But yes, when it does get up and running, it will be for images I find of the net, and my fiddlings on Photoshop, and other things I draw/paint/make. Should be fun.

All that I know is I don't know how to be something you miss. Never thought we'd have a last kiss.
Ow, ow, ow, heart.

If you take the first six words of the chorus completely out of context, and just go with how it sounds, then you get something completely different and contrary to the rest of the song. But it's what I half-thought when I first heard it (the title sort of gave it away).
Never thought we'd ever last...

Things that fly: Of spaceships, planes, and tennis balls

At last, the long wait is over, the weight is off my shoulders
JOSE IS BACK. I shall proceed to do my happy dance. And play some happy music. I was going to put Digsy's Dinner up here, but I can't seem to find it, so Daft Punk will do nicely instead.

My mind is set so free, I'm where I want to be to get the best of me
The ironic part is that the song is ten minutes long...the only time I've ever finished it was when I was watching Interstella, and that was because I wanted to finish the movie.

Nadal also beat Tomic, which is another cause to be happy, simply because he's an awesome, humble stud muffin. Who's also quite good at tennis. Here's hoping that he wins the Australian Open, despite still suffering from some ill effects of fever.

He's modelling for Armani as well...it's slightly frightening.

Twelve days until year twelve...and my homework is still largely undone. Tennis is on pretty much during all useful hours of the day. I also need to call LG to complain that the wifi on my phone is not working. It makes me very upset.

Happy 17th to Alice for two days ago. I hope it was megaly fun and that you enjoyed the celebrations which were four days early. And that your teeth aren't hurting too much.
These could be the best days of our lives, but I don't think we've been living very wise. What a life it would be if you could come to mine for tea. I'll pick you up at half past three, we'll have lasagne.

Toil and trouble

There are little bubbles of happiness bubbling away inside me. Following what was not exactly a bad day but a frustrating, angsty teen one, today has thus far been a success. Yesterday was full of not being able to watch Nadal, lack of success in Brawl, the methods book printing a question, not an answer, wrong, and various other frustration-inducing things.

Today has been good. Reading an email from a very dearly missed Filipino made me bubble with happiness. My parents buying me a Swarovski bracelet, for which I thank them very much, for my birthday made me bubble. Listening to Face to Face, and now Da Funk and it's very cool beats, makes me bubble with happiness. Getting my blazer off Julia makes me bubble with happiness. Thank you for looking after it. I've forgotten what you named it, but I'm sure it enjoyed it's time at your house.

Ccccckkkkkrrrrr

That's meant to be the sound of an aeroplane engine, when it's taking off, for you unimaginative types out there who can't understand the language of onomatopaie. What a surprise. Chrome tells me I didn't spell that right. It is in fact onomatopoeia. Well, I guess the subject of too many unpronounced vowels brings me to the point of this post, which is that I am, if all goes well, on a plane which is bound for Paris. Well, Malaysia first, then Paris.

Very, mucho excited.

SNOW. And...well, France! I've always wanted to go to Europe. I think the strongest attraction for me is the atmosphere, especially France, with it's history and culture. Speaking of history, we're going to Versailles. I will probably explode from excitement.

One will assume that I will not be blogging much while I'm over there. So, unfortunately, the December/first half of January archive will probably be very small. I seem to have not been blogging much anyway.

So guys, look after yourself, stay safe and enjoy the break before the majority of you plunge into the fun times which shall be year 12. For this year's graduating class, it has been freaking epic knowing you, and good luck on your various trips to everywhere and anywhere, and have fun in uni. Apologies for not being able to go to Final Assembly. Bordeaux, and all that.

I realised I would miss people when I received a random text from someone. I can't remember who, or what it was about, but I only realised it about two weeks ago. Sure, I had been thinking of it, but then it really got to me how much I relied on the people around me to keep me sane and grounded. It got to me that I won't be able to report random happenings to anyone who will get it, or, and this is probably the more important part, in a language I can communicate effectively and hilariously in. That people won't be reporting random happenings to me all the time. That I won't wake up from a weird dream and be able to laugh with someone about the sheer stupidity of it.

I'm going to miss you all.

Thanks to everyone who texted/Facebooked me. It means quite a bit that you all remember, especially when some of you have been rather neglected throughout the year. Sorry, and thank you.

Bec Tee and Cat: I am rather disappointed we probably won't see each other until school starts. Stay safe, wherever you are.

Viv, I shall email as much as humanly possible. I will make up for lack of emails in one period by spamming you whenever I touch a computer.

Happy birthday for tomorrow Jose. Enjoy being 17, just smile and be happy. "I COMMAND YOU." Could you pick up my lock for me, aussi? Je l'ai oublié.

Hasini, enjoy yourself, darlink. I'll stalk you when I get back.

Words are very warm, even if they aren't very pretty. Beware of shifty people in India Mahi. If they try to attack you, launch a llama at them.

Julia, refrain from eating too much. And could you also pick up my blazer? Xie xie.

Bec, I will be unable to catch the train with you to places and discuss Naruto/Bleach with you until further notice. However, six chapters will have gone by by the time I get back, so we'll have plenty to talk about. Although six isn't actually that much in the grand scheme of things. Damn the slow pace.

Margaret, again apologies for the really dodgy rainbow. I tried my hardest. Take care.

Dear diary, I really want to go to the beach. That craving will probably increase ten-fold after I come back. Alice, we will convince your mother that you can swim. You'll probably be the one saving us from drowning.

My family, enjoy Disney.

My brother: enjoy U2 and Jay. Sorry I am not able to be home to Brawl. I wonder if Marie has a Wii...playing French video games could be rather interesting. Must find some sort of gaming friend.

Michelle, sorry I can't be there for graduation. My spirit will be floating around (in ecstasy. Snap), and, most likely, snickering at the antics of year 6s.

And I will attempt to not run into beanbags, coffee tables, chairs, door-frames, or any other type of furniture/part of the house while I'm at Marie's.

À bientôt!

-smirks-

You know, it's sorta weird and bizarre (I've been using that a lot lately. I blame French) to find all these little hidden doors into people. And I feel slightly intrusive.

In other news: new Kanye album. Let's get pumped cause it has Beyonce on it. And I'm glad he's no longer singing. Granted his rapping isn't too flash either, it is a lot better than his singing. Don't get me wrong, I love his music. It's just that last album...yeah.

In other other news, I'm listening to Oasis again, and it's amazing how a few tracks of crazy optimism and loving life can lift you up again. I wish they would hurry up and release an album. Either of them. Noel especially, but something from one of you would be nice.

How do I say?

We did a French test today, and it took so long to explain that Jess and I had already finished it by the time she officially started the thing. So then I wrote song lyrics on my sheet, as you do.

How do I say "hello"?
I just wanna talk to you.
How do I say "you're beautiful"?
When I can't take my eyes off you.
So I wrote "how do I say hello, you're beautiful?" (slight misquote, but oh well), and Madame hands the test back to me and tells me that I got one mark off cause I used the wrong verb (oops), and underneath my song lyrics she wrote "bonjour, tu es beau/belle". And she pointed it out to me to tell me how to say it. We laughed.

I found this on Hyperbole and a Half.
Love is wonderful in that it can never be wasted or used up.  We can never replace the people or animals we have loved, but the love we feel for them can be expanded.  I like to think of love as being stretchy.  It is easy to feel guilty when you start to love a new pet - like somehow that means you love your old friend less.  But when you think of love as being stretchy and able to expand, you can see that there will always be room for everything.  You can love as much as you want.
Also, here is a palindrome of awesomeness which I shared with Jessica in French:

I met an alien whose name was sawemanesohwneilanatemi.

Brilliant.

Edit: Sorry that was meant to be "I met an alien who was called dellacsawohwneilanatemi". Apologies for the confusion.

And if you ever need me: anytime. "I hate randoms who call at one in the morning, but for you my friend, anytime. Anytime."

Same goes for me. For you, anytime.

Ramble 7

I have been "busy" (meaning I haven't been bothered blogging cause it takes too much time), but I have been wanting to blog, therefore I have this list of stuff which I wished to blog about pinned to my desktop. They are as follows with the following titles.

Point 1: Masterchef
Nothing much to say, except that I found it extremely hilarious. I cannot take that show seriously, because of the high dramatisation. It's like a soapie. Was very amusing though. One of the first things that struck me was Adam's uncanny resemblance to Manny from Black Books. It's bizarre. The resemblance is even stronger when Mr Chef lets his hair down.

Point 2: Jess/brother
Well, they had a lovely FB exchange about why I should or should not be going to the formal, which I am still yet to procure. Will post that as soon as I dig out the rest of it.

Which brings me to point 3.

Point 3: Formal
Not going.

Point 4: Winter Concert
Was brilliant. I couldn't stop smiling. Concert Choir was a lot better than I had expected, and the vibe there was great. Stage Band was epic. Anton, however, was a different story. After going through ten billion reeds (give or take nine billion nine hundred and ninety-nine million, nine-hundred and ninety-nine thousand, nine-hundred and ninety), I still couldn't find one which worked properly. Ran down to Allan's during my break of two hours to buy reeds; unfortunately, there seems to have been a whole hoard of bass clarinettists who had gone in prior to my arrival, and there was not a single pack of size three Vandoren's in the Billy Hyde section of Allan's (I didn't know it existed either). So it was a toss-up between size two Vandoren and size three Rico. For those who are not versed in reed knowledge, that's a strong reed in dodgy brand, or a weak one in a good brand. Bought three Ricos. Should've gone for Vandoren. Should've bought both actually. So none of those three worked to my expectation, which I found to my detriment, so I dug out an old Gonzalez at the bottom of my clarinet case, which had been sitting there for so long it had bent so it curved away from the mouthpiece, making it exceedingly difficult to play, but giving it a very strong sound. So that worked-ish for orchestra. However, after interval, Anton decided to combust altogether, and wouldn't play in the second register. Changed reed, tried again, didn't work. So for band and finale, I was playing in a constant state of fear, and with many squeaks thrown in. Not one of my better performances. Sigh.

Point 5: Trains/delays/masterplan Tuesday
No, it wasn't my masterplan for world domination involving trains and delays which I dreamt up on Tuesday. It was just the fact that it took me an hour and twenty minutes to get to Flinder's on Tuesday, something which usually takes me half an hour. And, to put it into context, I managed to almost finish listening to The Masterplan, a B-side album by Oasis, by the time I jumped on the train. I had a few minutes to go, and would've finished had I not bumped into someone to talk to.

Point 6: Collapsing asleep
Embarrassing, and quite a weird sensation. I was leaning against the plastic thingy on the train Wednesday morning, listening to my music and being in that state of half-consciousness one gets when one attempts to sleep on the train. I think I tried too hard this time, cause my left knee actually folded, and I almost collapsed. I was then in fear, and didn't try to fall asleep again.

Point 7: Jennifer's pen
I loved how Jen had a mini-freakout in revs the other day, lamenting the fact that she had lost the "revs" pen which matched all her other pens which I couldn't replace on her birthday cause she had bought them from Vietnam. She found it sandwiched in her book by the end of the lesson. Good job.

Point 8: Colours
I got music half-colours. Although I may have already reported that.

So scratch that.

Point 9 8: Castrol
My brother found the extended edition of Ronaldo's Castrol ad, now complete with "ezilaratin playcez" and "otha playcez."

And I love you Julia, and I think you're a beautiful, smart, clever, funny little bundle of joy, and that heart counts for more than brains in this world.

Saturday, July 24

Gonna testify

It's Saturday; for the first time in ages, I don't have maths tutoring. Then why the hell did I wake up at 6:45? Stupid internal alarm. I curse thee.

Felt quite on top of the world yesterday, for reasons unknown. Maybe if I gave a blow-by-blow account of the whole day it would explain things.

Before school: Nothing happened. Alice was late and I didn't see her? Maybe that made me happy...I really love you Alice. Oh yeah, walked the last hundred metres to school with Julia, who kept telling me that it was 'alright.' And kept doing so for the rest of the day.

Period 1: Skipped methods to rehearse for choob ensemble, because we needed it. And I must say that Beethoven sounds pretty damn awesome when we just have one person on each part. We're actually getting the hang of it. Lakme was...interesting, as was Csardas, but nothing a bit of practice can't fix. Funsies.

Period 2: English. Yeah...

Recess:...I ate, I guess? Nothing much. May have seen Jess. Oh wait I did. Oh yes. We got very excited about this formal, and what we want to perform, and everyone kept telling me it was alright. I felt fine for some reason. But thanks for the concern anyway.

Form Assembly: Discovered that I got half music colours. Let out 'the mother of all barbaric yawps' after I opened my little envelope of joy. Now must write an acceptance speech.

Period 3: Music. Listened to Autumn Leaves.

Period 4: Played Shostakovich...mmm...

Lunch: Stage Band. Played Autumn Leaves.

Period 5: FREE. I LOVE THE PERIOD 5 FRIDAY FREE. We sat in the cold, decorated Viv's chicken box, walked up to the music suite, went to the library, had a ten minute D&M, had a very long hug.

Period 6: French. Jess and I scribbled all over each other's diaries. They're going to turn into little bundles of wisdom by the end of the year. Also must do vocabulaire chapitre quarante-quartre. Zut.

After school: Viv took her chicken home in a cardboard box, which made for an amusing tram ride in which a complete random talking into his hands-free was peering into the box, and describing what we were doing to his conversation partner. And Viv was humming to it to calm it down. All very amusing.

After after school: Went to le Chaddy with la famille et Marie, had an amusing time creating a bear. Also bought a pair of Aviators for my duck, which sorta don't fit, but they were so cool. I mean, if I can't get real Aviators, I might as well get the next best thing, right? Which were mini-Aviators for $7.50. Baha.

Tired, with a sleepy-headache, but feel good. Off to breakfast.

Also got back on Neopets. This was a while ago, but I was very excited. My next goal is to get the gold trophy for Magma Blaster; my highest score is 778, and last time I got a silver trophy. At the moment, the top three on the high score table have 756, and two with 754. I can so do this. Must practice though, my best score this month is only 716. However, that already got me onto the third placings. Currently 25th on the board. Dammit.
Gonna testify, come up in the spot lookin extra fly. Before the day you die, you gone touch the sky, you gone touch the sky baby girl.

IT'S A CONSPIRACY

MACROB MAIL IS NOT WORKING. WHY IS IT NOT WORKING? JUST WHEN I HAVE TO SEND SOMETHING TO A TEACHER. Well actually it is working, I just can't seem to find the address book button, and thus cannot email said teacher. I had actually done the work. I'm on at 10pm because I was doing the work.

Well, actually I was talking to people, but that's beside the point.

So today, we had a "fire." I thought it was weird that the doors were all closed. We have this little magnetic system on the doors, and I'll assume that the magnet must be turned on for the doors to stay open. Anyway, they all turned off, and it was amusing because everyone was so oblivious to the fact that the fire alarm had gone off, and one of the teacher's was trying to figure out what was wrong with the doors. It was amusing. And when I went back up to the music suite, I asked Cat about the doors, and she said that the alarm had gone off. Total unpanic. Until our co-ordinator came up and confirmed that it was actually an alarm. So we stood in the rain for about fifteen minutes, which was lame. And had another fifteen minutes rehearsal. No idea what the "fire" was, and the MFB guys who came didn't seem to be in that much of a hurry either. Amusing. I regretted leaving Anton in the music suite to perish, and my lunch. I was so hungry.

And thanks again to Jess for the emotional support. There, now you've got your third post.

This formal thing is stressing me out, and it's ages away. Why am I even stressing? I have a dress, I have shoes, both which I didn't need to buy. It's fine. Gah.

And no, of course my voice isn't ridiculously low. Why is that the only comment anyone ever makes when I call them? Why oh why? Of course it isn't true...

10:08pm as an afterthought: I'm feeling strangely at peach. Although that will probably go out the window when I play in music tomorrow with my slightly unprepared and difficult (for me) piece.

10:10pm: I meant peace. Not peach. Yeah, you can tell I'm tired.

Ramble 6

So today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had a slight freak out last night over English, French and piano. Mostly French and English. French wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Alright, it was. It was terrible, and I can't count the amount of times I said 'je ne comprends pas' et 'pardon?' But it's finished now, and on the up side, at least I won't walk into the oral component next year and freak out cause I'll have had some sort of crazy experience, and I'll know more about what to expect next year for Alliance, and for VCE.

English I was freaking out because I hadn't written an essay as requested for my English tutor, who was more forgiving than I deserved, and talked me through it all. And now I think I get it more. At the start of our session I was considering changing into Englang, and by the end I was half-assured that I would eventually get this text response lark.

Piano...I'm actually quite pleased at the moment. Although I probably won't be by the end of the week after playing through the trio and performing Shostakovich on Friday.

A big shout out to Jessica for listening to me ramble, complain and freak out for about one and a half hours. And for giving me a slight confidence boost in giving me French conversation. I wish I could do as much for you.

And at the moment, I'm trying to call you. Why aren't you home?

Mother said I can go to formal. Slightly opposed to it, and so I'll attempt to ease this guilt by being nice and everything (cut and paste that attempt; add an 'ing' and stick it in front of 'being' instead). But I'm getting ridiculously excited already. Woop.

Jessica, come back. I need to call you for a crisis moment.

Geeze.

Harya estel nin. Hantanyel órenyallo.

Once again, I find myself having to thank people for putting up with my stupidity. Here we go.

Cheryllyn. Thanks for being there for these past...twelve years? Eleven? Dammit we're old.
Jess, for listening to be even though you'd nomed. I shall smirk at you L:
Alice for the shoulder.
Julia for...eating all my Oreos.
Hasini for not asking questions when I randomly jumped on her in the corridor.
Jessie for giving me that stupid frog smile and wave combo of yours.
Eadie for the hug.
Marie for worrying.
My brother for...being my brother.
My parents.
Titanic for providing musical comfort.

Right now, Talk is speaking to me. It really feels like it is.
Oh brother, I can't, I can't get through. I've been trying hard to reach you cause I don't know what to do. Oh brother I can't believe it's true. I'm so scared about the future, and I wanna talk to you. Yeah I wanna talk to you. You could take a picture, something you see. In the future where will I be? You can climb a ladder up to the sun; or write a song nobody had sung, or do something that's never been done. Are you lost or incomplete? Do you feel like a puzzle; you can't find your missing piece? Tell me how you feel. Well I feel like they're talking in a language I don't speak. And they're talking it to me. You could take a picture, something you see; in the future, where will I be? You can climb a ladder up to the sun, or write a song nobody had sung, or do something that's never been done. Do something that's never been done. So you don't know where you're going and you wanna talk. You feel like you're going where you've been before. You'll tell anyone who'll listen that you've been ignored, and nothing's really making sense anymore. Let's talk. Let's talk. Let's talk. Let's talk.
Harya estel nin. Hantanyel órenyallo.
Have hope in me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
